Cynthia Welsh recently joined the Meyerson Law Firm after over 16 years as a solo practitioner in Palmetto, Georgia. The primary focus of her practice is estate planning, trust and complex estate planning, and Medicaid and disability planning.
Cynthia received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in Macon.
Prior to attending law school, she worked for ten years in the financial services industry with Merrill Lynch. She is passionate about using her understanding of the intersection of family goals, financial needs and resources, and estate planning tools to craft individualized plans for her clients.
She and her family settled in Newnan, Georgia, twenty years ago after having lived all over the country, first as the daughter of a career Naval Officer, and then as a corporate spouse.
Cynthia is a member of the Georgia Bar, the American Bar Association, WealthCounsel and ElderCounsel, a national association of estate planning attorneys.
